My work in a rural community in Zambia in child protection fighting child marriage, harmful traditional practices and poor menstrual hygiene catapulted my work as an activist leading to me later becoming a Global Changemaker and Global Changemaker Mentor. I had the incredible opportunity not only to be unapologetic about my opinions, views, dreams and experiences, but also to have a platform to share them with people who were prepared to listen.
