      I spent a year and one month working at the accountancy firm 1st Class Accounts on placement as part of my degree. At this SME, I cover a variety of different roles and task to improve my knowledge in the accountancy world. My responsibilities were: • Completing companies' VAT registration and quarterly return. • Running payroll for companies while completing their PAYE tax. • Completing self-assessments for individuals. While working as an account’s administrator, I was able to develop skills such as: • Time management - dealing with a constant deadline I was able to become more efficient with my time and allocate my time to more urgent tasks. • Communication - with dealing with tax there needs to be constant communication between department, this allowed me to improve communication by keeping people updated with work and allowing to give out correct times for completed work
