Highlights:• Made contact sheets of over 100 organizations and pushed for a sponsorship department which the organization is now taking up. • Curated 4-5 marketing plans for podcasts, Instagram promotion, and Tiktoks (outreach of 20 000+ views in many instances). The Griffin’s Athletic Council has hosted several student body initiatives over the years. The primary goal of hosting an array of events throughout the school year is to initiate a positive impact through the school community that is simultaneously able to bring about unity. The pandemic brought on many challenges, but this was addressed head-on by transferring our events to online platforms and accommodating according to public health guidelines. This year our primary focuses were to fundraise, promote a healthy lifestyle, and allow students to thrive in athletics. Initiative recap: • Terry Fox Run (with both in-person and online accommodations) - $3200 raised, ~1200 students reached. • Led 14 executive members, monitored ~$2000 of funding • Hosted initiatives like an “Among Us” Game Night, Survivor games, Valentine’s Day card delivery, and a Wellness is Everyone’s business mental health event Show less
