Responsible for the design and engineering of modular refrigeration and other industrial process systems. Ensuring the technical integrity of multiple projects, including compliance with project scope and job specification. Also responsible for ensuring that the delivered products comply with the Customer’s specifications and requirements; national, regional, local codes and standards. Working as a Project Engineer to ensure timely execution of projects and delivery of packaged chiller and boiler plant for commercial and industrial application. Provide engineering related deliverables including drawings, document lists, bill of materials, equipment data sheets and performance specifications and assists in the establishment of project schedules and interfaces with internal and external customers. Review customer specifications and make recommendations for modifications and changes to job specific deliverables. Work with customers to insure agreement and understanding on all technical project details. Sizing and selection of mechanical equipment such as chiller, boiler, cooling tower, heat exchanger, pump/motor, pressure vessels, TES tank, filtration systems, air separators and instrumentation. Piping system design for the process water and cooling water system. Pressure drop calculation inside the packaged unit. Develop Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, equipment data sheets, specifications. Check engineering drawings / shop details for conformance to standards and practices. Review and approve engineering related deliverables and vendor submittals. Produce FAT documents to makes sure Modular Packaged Unit performs as designed. Direct the efforts of discipline engineers such as Electrical, Controls, Process, Sales and Applications Engineers as well as Designers and Drafters. Assist both Project Management and the Customer Service Manager and Field Engineer to solve field related problems. Show less
