The overall objective of the post is to provide medical and public health leadership in one portfolio of countries, to ensure MSF-OCA interventions effectively address the health needs of the populations we serve. This requires a close working relationship with the Operations Manager in order to develop, lead and ensure implementation of new strategies and interventions. The Health Advisor has a functional line directly to the medical coordinator for each country in the field . Currently I have Zimbabwe TB/HIV,Psychaitry and prison projects; PNG with Sexual Violence and Surgical projects and Chad mission with Emergency response, Nutrition program, Mother and Child care and Surgical program.

At that time I was overseeing and supporting Mental Health program in Iraq, emergency response,lead poisoning, mother and child care in Nigeria;emergency response program in Yemen; complex TB/HIV and humanitarian program in Myanmar and for short time supporing humanitarian program in Ethiopia.
