  Since October 1973, I have listed and/or sold several thousand properties and with a great partner, Geoff Glass, built our own real estate brokerage which at one time employed 350 salespeople in 13 offices around Ontario. After 15 years, we sold the firm off in pieces to our local managers, keeping the Guelph office of Royal City Realty for another 15 years as a base to work from ourselves. Managing the #1 office in Guelph, while selling too, was certainly rewarding. But in 2007 we sold the Guelph business along with its historic 1860’s stone building to Royal LePage and we became Royal LePage Royal City Realty. And I’m still here! Still listing and selling. And still loving every day. Well... most days.From the beginning, real estate sales has been a fascinating career, mostly because I truly love the product and believe everyone should own as much of it as they can, preaching to young people that “time and real estate will make you rich”. Because it will. Also it has never really felt like I’ve been “selling” anyone – just matching up needs with opportunity. My plan is to keep putting people and properties together many more years. It's more satisfying than golf.Along with today’s amazing technology which I love, it’s fair to say that “Experience Counts”. And I have 45 years of that - so far! Many loyal clients seem to agree. I do my best every day to be worthy of their trust.
