It was a pleasure to have Murray in the fundraising team at Pancreatic Cancer Action! He is passionate, knowledgeable and he understands how important supporter care and engagement is to an organisation. He is a valuable asset to any team and they would be lucky to have him on board!

I worked with Murray during his time at Pancreatic Cancer Scotland, and also Pancreatic Cancer Action. It was an absolute pleasure working with Murray, and his warmth and enthusiasm never fails to rub off. I wish Murray all the very best for the future, and will certainly be keeping in touch.

Directly managing a team of four, achieving 27% growth in income in 2017/18, taking the British Heart Foundation Scotland community fundraising team through the £1 million barrier for the first time. Adapting and localising the national fundraising strategy to include; introduction of fundraising partnerships, the Heart of Scotland dinner, local Development Boards, Fundraising Groups, supporter development and the creation of ‘Braveheart’s’ a new volunteer role, has been crucial to the growth in the team. In my second last day I successfully pitched for BHF Scotland to be a charity partner for Pedal for Scotland in 2019. Show less
