  The University College Student Council (UCSC), the elected student body of University College Utrecht, is dedicated to representing student interests in all academic matters. As one of the six members, our primary goal is to enhance the liberal arts and sciences education from a student's perspective. In our role as the UCSC board, we collaborate closely with the college to ensure that the student voice is not only heard but also integrated into managerial, administrative, and academic policies. This involves actively participating in initiatives such as curriculum decolonization and providing valuable input on the UCU budget. In addition to our official positions, the UCSC maintains a strong connection with the five clusters at UCU. As an Academic Affairs Officer, I work in conjunction with cluster chairs, fellows, and student track representatives to improve individual classes and tracks. As the Academic Affairs Officer, I serve as the student representative responsible for 10 of 25 disciplines taught at UCU. This necessitates maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the various streams of information related to track evaluations, courses, and teaching, and effectively communicating and coordinating with track fellows, cluster chairs, and student track representatives.
