    • Housesitter/Babysitter

Ever since entering high school, I would occasionally housesit and babysit for my neighbors and family friends. These clients would then spread the word about my exceptional trustworthiness and reliability and I would gain more households who would later hire me. Though I no longer babysit very often, I housesit usually once every two months for anywhere between two days and three weeks. I believe there is something positive to be said about a person who is left with a client's possessions, pets, and children for an extended period of time. Show less

    • Volunteer/Receptionist/Vet Technician/Vet Assistant/Kennel Attendant
      • 2020 - Jun 2023

I intermittently volunteered at Rocklin Road Animal Hospital for IT and program help and conducting inventory from 2020 to September 2021. In September of 2021 I was hired on as a receptionist, then expanded to working in the back as a veterinary technician/assistant and kennel attendant while staying on as a receptionist 1-2 days a week. As a receptionist, my duties included checking clients in and out; making appointments; scanning and attaching exam notes and other documents to a patient's electronic file; entering requests to fill medication and sending them to staff and doctors; taking phone calls and answering emails from clients and other veterinarian offices; updating medical history or client information in patient charts; reserve boarding dates for clients; coordinating surgeries, lab work, and specialty appointments (such as echocardiograms or ultrasounds); and confirming appointments throughout the week. As a veterinary technician/assistant and kennel attendant, my duties included restraining animals; giving vaccines or other subcutaneous medicated injections; drawing blood intravenously for heartworm tests or other lab work; filling and verifying medication; calling prescriptions into outside pharmacies; assisting in sedation procedures and surgery preparation; assisting specialty doctors in procedures such as echocardiograms and ultrasounds; taking radiographs of animals; preparing lab samples, testing samples, and informing clients of patients' test results; answering client questions and giving medical advice when appropriate; feeding, watering, medicating, and taking out animals; performing boarding assessments when required; and general cleaning duties. Lastly, I recently interviewed for a hospital manager position within my company, PetVet Care Centers. Although the manager decided not to leave and therefore the position was no longer open, I looked forward to managing a hospital and hope I have the opportunity for another management position. • Background Investigator
      • Sep 2016 - Apr 2020

I worked as a background investigator for almost four years at Probe Information Services, Inc. My duties included conducting background research on subjects (by way of social media searching and database research), compiling findings in a report, and analyzing my findings to recommend further investigations. I also conducted medical canvasses for subjects to determine where medical records may be obtained; ordered medical records, police reports, court records, claim files, employment files, death certificates, DMV records, and coroner's reports; investigated and reported court cases or business information belonging to the subject, conducted insurance investigations by calling insurance companies and obtaining information about specific claims; conducted wellness, asset, and social media checks on subjects; and captured social media profiles. For most of my career at Probe, I was the only investigator who regularly performed (and was able to perform) all the above investigations/records retrievals. Toward the end of 2019, a Team Lead position opened up that a couple of my co-workers applied for. As I was more interested in performing the investigations at the time and was not so interested in administrative work, I did not apply. After a co-worker of mine was chosen for the position, I was advised by my supervisor that they expected me to apply and that I was favored for the position. Show less

I started here as an internship from my high school ROP (regional occupational program). As my internship came to an end at my graduation from high school, Loomis Basin hired me on as a pharmacy assistant. My duties included rooming patients, cleaning and sanitizing empty rooms, handling deceased patients, restraining animals for procedures, counting medication and keeping track of prescriptions, entering patient notes into their files, and answering phone calls from clients.
