  I was appointed director of the Events Unit in 2005. I brought in clients such as GSK, Philips, Maersk, Wright Medical and built and infrastructure partnering with different specialist businesses to offer an integral service from the design to the last detail of the execution of their international events. In 2008, CPSL decided to focus its efforts on language solutions and so I concentrated on expanding the business in interpreting services. Our client portfolio continued to grow and we gained the trust of blue chip organisations in the life sciences, energy and financial sectors as well as public organisations, including UN organisations.   February 2005- December 2007I lead the CPSL Technologies unit, a company devoted to developing and marketing technology for the translation and localisation industry, while CPSL was and Official distributor for TRADOS and ALCHEMY. During that period we launched Lucas 4.0, a powerful Translations Workflow Management System.

During that time I also organised training to prepare candidates for the Diploma in Translation of the Institute of Linguists (UK). Assignments included interpreting for HRH Princess Ann during the ’92 Olympic Games, for the late President of the IOC, Juan Antoni Samaranch during Manchester 2000 and former UK Prime Minister John Major, amongst other British and Spanish politicians.
