As the Finance and Operations manager my detailed job description includes: Administrative Function: 1. In charge of the Human Resource function in the organization. 2. Play an advisory role to the board and management regarding budget issues and the financial outlook of the organization. 3. Advise the various project team leaders on best financial, procurement and administrative practices to ensure compliance with Sarakasi Trust operational manuals as well as the national legal framework. 5. Facilitate organizations capacity assessments by auditors and other consultants appointed by the donors. 8. Corresponding with the donors on any financial related matters of the organization 9. Managed the Danish Culture Fund between 2012 and 2014 10. Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team 11. Risk management. Serve as primary liaison to legal counsel in addressing legal issues e.g. copyright, antitrust, governing instruments, partnerships, licensing etc. Finance Management Function 1. Ensure the internal control systems are in place and are being adhered to. 2. Assisting the Managing Director and Board in creating annual organizational budget and monitoring cash flow 3. Working with respective project heads to ensure accurate budget implementation 4. Supervision of accounting staff 5.. Ensure timely financial reporting and monitoring of grants 6.
