Experienced Mechanical Engineer with a record in the development of projects within the energy industry. Currently involved in the development of the Atshan gas field, located in the sought west of Libya on the Algerian border Key responsibilities include the development of the conceptual design, and preparation of the Atshan Basic and FEED ITT (Invitation To Tender) which contains 4 packages: 1. Gathering system for 90 wells and Central Processing Facility that will be able to condition and process 200 MMSCFD of natural gas. 2. A pipeline from CPF to Ubari power plant which is 305 km with all the required facilities (pig launchers and receivers, block valve stations, and gas receiving station to guarantee gas parameters at Ubari power plant) 3. Residential area to accommodate 100 people (Camp, mess, recreation center, Clinic, Mosque) 4. Airstrip with all external infrastructures. Job duties include the following activities: • Gathered all the essential data and was responsible for the communications with the end user General Electric Company of Libya. • Prepared the SOW and SOR for Atshan Field Development Project Basic & FEED tender package preparation. • Participated in technical and unpriced commercial bid clarifications. • Was involved in the Company and Contractor alignment meetings. • Conducted technical and unpriced commercial bid evaluation. Subsequently, assigned to Zallaf Project Management Team (PMT) as a mechanical engineer, to work side by side with Worley Oman and execute the Basic and FEED of the Atshan project and overcome all the obstacles that come across during the design. Specifically focused on reviewing and approving specifications, datasheets, and material requisitions for all equipment and Long Lead Items across the project. Show less
