  Responsible as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in the R&D Department. working on various projects which include, Prototype design for Interceptor 4x4 (Muhafiz-iv) , currently in the production phase, CAD Design concepts for custom front ends for Land Rover Defender 90, Concept for military full forward cabin on a Military 6x6 Chassis, Monocoque concept for a 4x4 APC & design and development of Ballistic Doors for a very high value client. Major Responsibilities During these Projects Include, • Concept Designs for Prototype Manufacturing of Light and Heavy Armored Vehicles, Hull Design, Chassis and Suspension Integration to meet the specified STANAG/ NIJ customer requirements, Homologation assessment to comply with ECE and implementation in design. Finalization & and integration of advanced equipment on vehicles such as NBC System, AFSS (Automatic Fire suppression system), SML (Smoke Grenade Launcher) & and critical engine ballistic protection. • Crew Cabin Interior Detailing. Planning and positioning of the driver seat, steering wheel/column, and crew seats ergonomically (SAE J826). Optimizing VLS for the Driver and Modular Dashboard Design. • Expertise in handling the project for design reviews, checking the static & and dynamic interferences for GD&T & risk analysis. Interacting with Photoshop, manufacturing dept correspondence, suppliers & and internal qualification teams to optimize the planning and creation of sheet metal BOQ for production and fabrication within deadlines. • Proficient in specification finalization, concept design generation, QR, RFQ, RFP, Feasibility study, proposal drawings, resource planning within budget estimate Show less
