      Worked as Visiting Researcher in the Photonic Components department at HHI. The primary role was to develop antenna-integrated photomixing emitters using HHI's InP and polymer photonics technology, for mmWave and THz radiation and photonic phased array antennas. The work was carried out with two different research groups of THz Sensors and Systems and Polymer PIC. Moreover, THz broadband antenna arrays were designed, along with fabrication mask, PolyBoard platform, for photonics-enabled phased array emitters for 2D beamsteering with applications in beyond 5G communication systems. The notable outcome of this research stay is development of first ever J-band (220 – 330 GHz) PIN-PD emitter module integrated in WR-03 waveguide.
