Muharrem has proved an extraordinarily valuable member of the team. He was naturally highly knowledgeable about libraries when he first joined us, since he had been working for some time as a librarian, but what was striking was how much he also knew about healthcare, enabling him to talk with ease to doctors, nurses and other clinical staff about the point-of-care tools with which we were working. What's more, he was able to speak to people in fluent Norwegian, despite being a Turkish speaker by mother tongue, and indeed he communicated with equal effectiveness in Sweden too. He worked with ease in English too. His communication skills aren't merely a matter of language knowledge, impressive though his is. It was also a question of outstanding skills in interacting with people, and above all with clients. There are few people I have known who are more able to establish easy and excellent relations with our users: they respect him, they realise he respects them, they learn quickly from him, and they trust him. Added to that, he is highly intelligent. One particular aspect of his intelligence is that he is well-informed in a surprisingly high number of areas, and where he lacks information, he displays an unusual enthusiasm and ability to find out the information he is missing. Since he has excellent relations with colleagues as with clients, he is more than happy to share information as needed with them. Indeed, that is just one aspect of the willingness he constantly shows to provide support to colleagues whenever they need it. Indeed, he has frequently helped out other team members when necessary, even though that means travelling to other countries. All in all, he has been an invaluable contributor to the team, both as an individual and as someone helping to develop the team as a whole. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him for any job requiring extensive knowledge and outstanding human relationship skills.
