Currently I hold a fourth Dan black belt which I have achieved through rigorous examinations that have built both my physical and mental fortitude. Having competed at a regional, national, and international levels are experiences that have had a significant impact on my personal development. Through my commitment to Taekwondo from a young age and constantly striving to move through the ranks. I was successful in becoming one of the youngest black belts in the UK. Whilst balancing my A-levels I noticed the lack of extracurricular activities available to young individuals in my community. Clinical/Medical Coder

My role would involve coding all forms of documents sent to the practice ranging from scan results, referral letters, A&E letters and many more. As well as coding I am accustomed to the filing of all forms of documentation. Having worked at the federation, I know first-hand that there is a backlog of medical files that need to be coded because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent strain on the NHS and primary care. A large part of my role entails understanding what surgeries desire from their coders, and the adjustment of my coding skills to the preferencing of each practice. Show less

Fast Futures

Having been selected for the Fast Futures programme, I established a thorough understanding of the effects a digital transformation has on industries. With the guidance of C-level professionals, I was able to develop a deeper insight into the importance of digital marketing as well as how companies are promoting diversity and inclusion. Being tasked with regular module assessments that would highlight and develop key workplace skills, from being able to “work great with teams” to “finance fundamentals”. My responsibility within the programme involved personal management. Where, I had to ensure assessments are completed on time as well as managing my degree workload that was running in parallel.
