  As a senior Transaction Officer, with my supervisor’s authority, I’m responsible for posting major transactions of our unit, training new tellers on how to perform various task and banking policies, putting them through our on line banking system, how to serve customers effectively and efficiently, how to handle customer queries and referring them to appropriate units. I’m also responsible for providing leadership role in working as a team on how important everyone’s input towards achieving the overall objective of the unit and motivate them. I also do ATM servicing, taking money in and out of vault, balancing our vault on daily basis, clearing cheques, posting salaries, writing end of day reports for management, liaising with different units.I also perform administrative task of our branch, making sure that the time book is sign accurately by all employees, preparing our admin request for stationary and other items and making sure that all request are provided, giving fuel coupons to our drivers, retiring our petty cash vouchers, using the petty cash to obtain any other item, maintain ethical and professional discipline within our team, organizing monthly branch meetings, making sure that all employees within the branch attend the meeting and taking disciplinary action against anyone who fail to attend without a genuine reason, taking minutes of the meeting and writing a report to HR to what has been discussed.
