  Signal Rehabilitation Project, Pakistan RailwaysSignal Rehabilitation Project is the rehabilitation of existing Standard III Mechanical Interlocked 22 +1 Railway stations into Computer Based Interlocking (CBI). SRP is the first of its kind project in Pakistan Railways and is a milestone in achieving the high speed railways in P.R. I have served in this project from may-2011 to dec-2019.The Job was completed in 2020 , however some issues and disputes were still remained pending prohibiting the closeout of project and I was once again entrusted to reach out the logical conclusion of the project. The core job was assigned to close the project physically and financially in all aspects. By the grace of GOD the job now stands completed in dec,2022. Show less

  Signal Workshop is a century old facility for the manufacturing of Mechanical Signalling and interlocking Equipment of All standards. Here we manufacture and repair many types of Block Instruments used in Pakistan Railways. This facility is back bone of Railway operations in Pakistan Railways.As Works Manager , I am totaly responsible for its all processes i.e. Manufacturing production, accountals, procurements, sales Human Resource etc.

  The Divisional Signal Engineer (DSE) is over all incharge/ head of Signal branch in every Pakistan Railway's seven (7) Operating divisions. I performed as DSE at SUkkur DIvision. It stretches from Khanpur to Tandoadam over main line, Sukkur to Habibkot, Jacobabad, sibi, Dadu and Kashmor about 75 railway stations. This division comprises of variety of Signaling Systems i.e. All relay interlocking, CBI, std-III ,II, I Mechanical interlocking and several type of block working systems i.e. Axle counter block, Tier's double line block, Niel's token block instrument. The DSE is responsible for the maintenance of Signaling systems over the division. Human resource management, material management, financial management skills all are required to perform the job.   Signal Rehabilitation Project, Pakistan RailwaysSignal Rehabilitation Project is the rehabilitation of existing Standard III Mechanical Interlocked 22 +1 Railway stations into Computer Based Interlocking (CBI). SRP is the first of its kind project in Pakistan Railways and is a milestone in achieving the high speed railways in P.R. Up to date Fifteen (18) STD-III mechanical interlocked stations are upgraded to CBI with axle counter block and opened for commercial operation. My responsibilities are:• To coordinate with consortium partners Bombardier Transportation (BT) and China Railway Signaling Company (CRSC) for the ongoing works at yards and block sections• To inspect yards prior to any CBI installations with reference to approved IYD's cable route plan, bonding plan for any possible necessary changes which may be required depending on site conditions (IRJ Marking, UTC markings...Etc.)• Inspection and testing of the laying and Installation of 24 core Optical Fiber Cable in block sections in accordance with the PR specifications .( over 260 km is completed)• Assurance of all safety measures for the train operation during the CBI Installation and testing of stations.• Preparations of 100 RE , 90 RE turnouts for the installations of point machines ( JEA73) and Magnetic Point detectors ( JFV40)( 18 stations are done)• Arrangement of the material required for the track work( wooden sleepers, Gauge Tie plates , Stretchers bars and all their allied accessories), Signaling works( Roding, Rod Rollers , Single Lever Frames and their allied accessories) and their installations according to designs and layouts.(for all project is done)• To manage the teams of Supervisors, sub engineers and their assignments.• To monitor all the works being carried out in order to check whether the specifications of the PR are fulfilled or not.• Preparation of the reports for S.R.P Headquarters about the work progress.• Show less

  D.T.E is the head of Telecom Department in any of 7 divisions of the Pak Railways. I serve in Sukkur Division which stretches from TandoAdam to Khanpur, upto sibi towards Balochistan and upto Dadu. Telecommunication in railways play an essential roles while delivering and receiving the train position and status and as an active link between rolling stock, control room and Station Masters on either side. The modern signaling of railways does not works without telecommunication. Pakistan Railways has its own Microwave network, UHF network, VHF system, wired control communication hot line and VOIP telephony using OFC as carrier additionally Railways utilizes the services of NTC, PTCL and ufone.The management of the said communication systems ,management of staff and their matters, financial matters are covered in job description.
