 To take up all kind of safety work.  Study the building, equipment, procedures, and records of accidents and point out safety hazards.  Teach up safe habits to workers and Operators.  Make sure chemicals are stored according to safety measures.  Audits of Unsafe Acts & Conditions at plant site & buildings.  Incident & accident investigation and preparation of report.  Audit & check all types of work permit issue for job at plant site and prepared compliance reports.  Provide safety guidance to operation & maintenance.  Use all types of explosive, toxic & Oxygen meters for Gas Testing in Vessels, Confined Space & Tunnels.  Use of breathing apparatus (SCBA) in confined space, tunnels & entry trenches.  Audit / inspection of personal protective equipment’s (PPE'S), Live & Lifesaving equipment’s.  Housekeeping audits & inspection at plant site, Electrical substations, maintenance workshop, maintenance shacks and buildings.  Safety inspection of cranes, generators, welding machines & power tools.  Participate in regular Fire Fighting / Emergency drills and brief emergency support team and proper use of the fixed, portable and mobile fire equipment’s& system.  Audit & inspection of “FIRE FIGHTING” equipment’s include all types of Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hydrants, Monitors, Fire Hoses, Foam trolleys & fixed CO2 Fire protection system, FM 200 Fire Suppression system.  To use, refill and maintenance all types of fire extinguishers.  Use of Hose Binding Machine, Dry Chemical Powder refilling machine, CO2 refilling machine, SCBA refilling machine and Foam refilling machine.  Audit & inspections of Fire Alarm System (Smoke, Heat Detectors, Fire Call Points) at plant site & buildings.  To operate the Fire Truck pumps.  Practical knowledge of all accessories of Fire Tender.  General counseling of PLANT SITE workers & also yearly turn around (TA) workers.
