  Currently working in Etisalcom Bahrain W.L.L as Database Administrator. my core responsibilities include designing, managing, implementing the database structure for the company’s billing system, implementation of Oracle Replication using 10g Streams/Mulitmaster Replication,10g Real Application Clusters (RAC) configuration & management on both linux and solaris platform , 10g Datagaurd Implementation with physical standby , database performance and Tuning, development of oracle procedures and triggers. Partition of oracle database tables, Storage Management of oracle data files and tablespaces. Currently I am working on a project "Design & implementation of dataware house" We have multiple data sources (SQL Server DB & Oracle DB) which needs to be integrated in dataware house. We'll use Oracle 10g OWB(Oracle Warehouse Builder) to design & implement whole ETL (Extraction,Transformation & Loading ) by having oracle 10g Database as target dataware house.   Worked as Database Administrator at Worldcall Wireless Ltd. Lahore (CMMI Level 3 company). My core responsibilities include designing, managing, implementing the database system for the company’s billing/settlement applications; hosted in its own data-centers in Lahore and Karachi, using Oracle DBMS 10g Release2, with Linux (RHEL ES) OS, and with Oracle RAC (on HP MSA 500G2 StorageWorks), with Advanced Multimaster replication on 2 sites (connected via dedicated network link), both acting as primary sites. I also worked on designing, managing, implementing the dataware house system for the company’s reporting/analysis & Business Intelligence projects. Other responsibilities include working on back-end of multiple projects in order to give technical solutions for shifting the middle-tier logic to back-end logic using Triggers and stored Packages/Procedures in order to resolve the performance issues. It also includes partial involvement in development of Triggers and stored procedures in PL/SQL. Handling backup/recovery and performance tuning issues of client’s Productions databases involves latest techniques of backup management and performance tuning. Show less
