An independent translator agency that provides English subtitles of various Indonesian TV Shows intended for the viewership in Malaysia. • Created English subtitles from transliterating Malay subtitles of a number of Indonesian TV Shows using the subtitle editor software Subtitle Edit. • Obtained high level of proficiency in the use of subtitle editing software and its elements such as the sentence, line breaks and time stamp placement to compile comprehensible captions. • Responsible for interpreting, and translating the content of the Malay/Indonesian slang, idioms, and other informal talk and jokes in the TV shows into formal, understandable, yet still lively English captions. • Averaging around 45 to 60 minutes worth of TV show broadcast per translation-subtitling session. • Required to put a substantial amount of attention to detail of the subtitles to provide professional quality. • Worked with tight and fixed deadlines (less than 24 hours) to ensure steady results.

In this college undergraduate research laboratory, I completed my two final projects on Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Program. I have studied simulation for operating condition analysis. This simulation is spreadsheet-based. From the base of this simulation, I have also learned and used the same concept for vessel optimization projects, mainly concerning reactors. Krakatau Steel is an Indonesian steel company. At the forefront of Indonesia's steelmaking industry, Krakatau Steel has been contributing to the growth of the nation's infrastructure for more than 50 years and counting. • Positioned in the 'Direct Reduction (DR) Plant', responsible for preparing raw iron which would later be made into steel. • Given in-depth lessons about the fundamentals of the DR Plant such as its main process as well as its auxiliary which includes handling of raw materials, water treatment, carbon dioxide removal, etc. • Participated in numerous engineering-based activities such as control room visits, pipe length-measuring, vessel level measuring, safety assessment, and more. • Created a spreadsheet-based Injection and Purge Simulation Program for the plant's 300.000 L capacity 'Absorber-Stripper System' as the Internship's Final Project with the overall purpose to increase the effectiveness of the substance concentration control in the system and cost evaluation.
