Also involved in Environmental Impact assessments, Biodiversity, and Resource use assessment, protected areas management and conservation., ecological applications, biodiversity management, and Strategic planning for Hydropower, Energy development and conservation, Urban development, and Natural Resource Management projects. Well aware of the EA processes and associated acts and legislation. The major emphasis of professional practice has been on Ecological restoration, Wetland management and mitigation, Community consultation, EIA/ESA planning and execution, Biophysical impact assessment, GIS integration, and Environmental regulatory compliance. With a sound professional background, hands-on industry knowledge, rigorous multi-stakeholder consultation exposure, and higher education, trained to deal with a variety of challenges in ecological management, restoration, and regulatory compliances. Diverse Assignments included projects and programs funded by Pakistan Science Foundation, Higher Education Commission Pakistan, WWF, and World Bank Group. Multi-Sectoral Ecological and Biodiversity Management Planning under World Bank’s Environmental Safeguards. Offered Technical role in developing Terrestrial Fauna Management Plan to safeguard critical mountain environment involving Wildlife Conservation and Community-based Conservation. Published over 100 research articles in well reputed International and National Journals and 30 Technical Reports for various organizations.Reviewer of 20 International and National Journals. Moreover, supervised 10 Ph.D.and 40 M. Phil theses related to mammals, birds, and reptiles. Show less
