Led a team of six surveyors responsible for conducting topographical surveys for mine site (pit and dump). Managed two surveying teams through the course of mining operation – Conventional Surveying and Drone Surveying Conventional Surveying Function: Planned and conducted surveys of the mine including haul roads, ramps, floor levels, bench toes and boreholes using Trimble GPS equipment on a regular basis. Used Deswik and MinePlan3D to provide latest and greatest As-built maps to Mine Planning team to assess them in scheduling, designing, and reconciling the operation against designs. Drone Surveying Function:Personally developed and steered an entire new Drone Surveying function at SECMC. Conducted drone Surveys of the pit and dump on regular basis which transformed Engro Coal operations to new heights of performance and safety with massive increase in time saving.
