This project was for 600 IoT apartments in Germany. My role was to design UX and UI for IoT mobile and web apps. Started the project from scratch by doing user research to create the best solution for the target audience. After the research phase, concept sketches and Low-Fi wireframes were designed and rapid prototyping was performed to test early on the design stage and eliminate any error. UCD and other best UX practices and methodologies were followed in the whole process. Users were of 3 types super admin, building admin and the apartment owner. Web apps were designed for all the types of users whereas mobile app was only for the apartment owner. Admin can monitor activities and electricity usage of all the apartments in a building and apartment owner can control and monitor the appliances in his/her apartment. Show less
