  • Testing all aspects of the product like functions, components, performance etc. • Setting up of the test environments. • Verify new test equipment, jig and fixture designs conform to standards and requirements. • Implement efforts to improve Test reliability, capability and productivity (Kaizen). • Train and develop subordinates to achieve customer’s satisfaction in terms of product quality, test and delivery performance. • Ensure all the test equipment are well-maintained (Preventive Maintenance). • Review testers’ performance by monitoring weekly/monthly yield report • Generate and update the test operational procedures and ensure subordinates complied with the procedures. • Amend test program/methods in controlled manner according to the customer’s standard. • Liaise with customer for test development and installation setup. • Perform Validation and Verification equipment and product subject to customer requirement. • Follow up on the ECO implementation and create/update the test procedure. • Perform root cause analysis and containment action in the event of Product Quality (Low Yields, Quality Reject, Product failures, etc.) • Review testplan / test strategies for improvement activity. • Involved directly in New Product Introduction (NPI) by setting up new tester and provide feedback to the team regarding the yield, any tester issue, design or process issue. • Responsible in the debug section.
