      Projects:• Unique Identification of Students in Public Schools –SIS(School information System)-In April 2017, the School Education Department collaborated with PITB to institutionalize a tablet-based, School Information System (SIS) – to self-report data on registered students, teachers and facilities; using a low-cost android based tablet in real-time. Each student is uniquely tagged in SIS, based on the parent/guardian CNIC. These CNICs are checked for validity via the NADRA database, at the time of student enrollment. This online dashboard provides free public access to high-level stats automatically tabulated from the self-reported by public schools in Punjab everyday.
