Designed, iterated, and developed “LentiView” assay for local and international release using ExoView Imaging technologies to characterize Lentiviruses, engineered viruses, and retroviruses. Optimized assays to develop prototypes for a new imaging platform for successful detection and characterization of AAVs and molecules <50nm. • Successfully demo’ed newly released “LentiView” instruments, assays, and subpopulation software to Unchained Labs acquisition stakeholders and investors, leading to the acquisition of NanoView Biosciences by said stakeholders. • Increased cargo staining efficiency of Lentiviruses from <10% to 35-50% per standard Lentivirus sample through optimization of permeabilization techniques, allowing maximum permeabilization and minimum sample damage. • Optimized assays using nano-beads for the development of new imaging instruments to surpass size detection limits of particles in older instruments. • Blueprinted, beta-tested, and iterated subpopulation and colocalization analysis tools and successfully quantitated titer characteristics of virus samples and enhanced characterization of sample impurities in respective preps.

Pipetted and spotted 20+ antigens onto gold-grated chips and ran chip-based ELISA-like protocol on Lyme patient serum. Programmed Robot Spotter to create Lyme antigen spots on chips in protein-quartet variations. Obtained diagnosis metrics from Biobanks and Albany Medical Center to conduct biochip assay for cross-validation and analysis with clinical patient serum. Produced Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for lab protocols to guarantee experimental consistency across lab members’ work. Taught and supervised SOP to 2 incoming graduate students. • Increased antibody identification sensitivity from 50-70% for the Standard Two-Tiered Tests to 90% while maintaining 100% specificity using microarray assay of Lyme antigens on chips and Lyme (+) and (-) clinical patients’ serum to test and confirm assay efficacy • Designed, trained, and tested predictive machine learning algorithm to diagnose Lyme with 15 disease antigens across 31 clinical patients’ serum by employing LIBSVM and Scikit-learn python packages • Devised PCA and SVD algorithm to locate specific and effective Lyme antigens with 80% variance in (+) and (-) diagnosis results from Grating-Coupled Fluorescent Plasmonic images.
