The Nigerian Youth Parliament was first Proclaimed in 2008 by the Late President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Umaru Musa Yar’adua GCFR, The Nigerian Youth Parliament (NYP) supports the principles of the United Nation Framework on the World Programme of Action for Youth (WPAY) adopted by the General Assembly in 1995 to provide policy framework and practical guidelines for national action and international support to improve the situation of Young People around the World.
