Cambridge, United Kingdom The main job of this position is to grow new spintronic thin film materials using molecular beam epitaxy (MBE), and use chemical, structural and magnetic characterisation tools to identify the properties of them. Then understand and optimise the best growth conditions for the materials to show materials properties are predicted and exploited. After that process the samples with standard cleanroom facilities such as mask aligner, reactive ion etching and thermal evaporation.
