I can recommend Waleed without reservation. He researched deeply into the topics he worked on and produced excellent results. He is highly regarded by others in the team and his excellent command of English and German was very helpful for our US activities - he was in high demand from team members. His good interpersonal skills are backed up by excellent analytical skills. I wish waleed all the best in his future career.

During the past year, it has been a pleasure to work with Waleed. He is a highly skilled engineer with a meticulous can do attitude. We have worked on improvement measures for solar projects together as well as various other projects. If Waleed doesn't know how to do a specific task, he will figure it out and return very professional results. Waleed has been a great asset to our group.

Master Thesis Topic: Output impedance dependent stability analysis of droop controlled invertersWireless power-sharing between inverters is possible through active and reactive power droops. However, the stable operation of a droop controlled inverter depends on its output impedance as well.In my thesis, I investigated a range of droop controlled inverter’s output impedances and found a stable operating region; for both grid-connected and islanded mode of inverter operation. Additionally, I implemented a virtual impedance in the inverter control mechanism. This addition made the droop control technique's stability independent of its output impedance. Show less
