When you do a lot of conferences, you get used to working with different conference organizers. Some are better than others and then there is Charlotte Lyng. She sets the bar high on what you can expect. Extremely good at giving you timely information, fixing problems and getting you where you need to be. Always there and always with a smile!

I´ve had the pleasure of working with Charlotte for several years now, mostly with NDC Oslo and NDC London. Always positive and with a "we can do it" spirit, Charlotte is one of the most including and inviting people I know. As a project manager Charlotte is very well organized, is able to see the big picture and has even the nitty gritty details pinned. Working with her is a true joy!

My principle task was to make an assessment of Hum’s PR and marketing strategy, to make strategic and detailed recommendations, and to set the company up with a working package of social media tools and provide the relevant training to staff. I was also responsible for finding potential licensee partners in Scandinavia for their library music production. Through this position I gained excellent customer service skills through using enthusiasm, sales techniques and product knowledge to connect customers with the right product (e.g. adapting brand stories to retail settings). Here I developed a solid confidence when it came to giving advice and information. Strong history of working in teams to pursuit daily and monthly budgets in a fast paced and dynamic environment. This was a reputation management project implemented by Norsk Resirk as a response to the rise in reported number of rapes and other sexual offences against women in Oslo over spring and summer in 2011. I was accountable for establishing and building positive relationships with over 60 nightclubs and bars, the police, volunteers and the media. I also had to ensure promotion of the project, answering media enquires and evaluating the project on a weekly basis. This position enabled me to learn how to present a strong and professional image to others (e.g. serving as spokesperson for Norsk Resirk when being interviewed by print and broadcast media).
