Lubos is funny, bright and somehow always awake when you need him! He's super responsive and his work is very well executed. My favorite part of working with Lubos is that he always makes me laugh and he knows how to take feedback on his work. What more could you want in a co-worker?

I worked with Lubos at HELIX RE and, from a designers perspective he is fantastic to work with. His attention to detail and eye for precision and quality finish makes him a cut above many front end developers. We were able to co-design and work out design logic in a collaborative way that was invaluable to creating digital products in an efficient way. Not only that, he's a lovely guy too - a real asset for any team!

Banff offers talent management advisory services to senior executives and works with select enterprises to support their strategic needs. Throughout my time at Banff, I've built and continue to maintain their core product Contender, a web platform used by internal users and enterprise clients to connect with curated talent. I've worked on multi-disciplinary teams of 2 to 10 people which saw me transition from focusing on front-end development, through becoming a tech lead, to being a full-stack engineer. As a member of a small team, I've carried out tasks outside the traditional responsibilities, such as internal presentations, customer demos, user research, marketing website QA, or communicating with external partners. I've also got the chance to contribute to open source projects and interact with wider community as our products rely on open source software.

Through my company, I prefer working with early-stage startups on their path to becoming a viable business.I've worked with startups providing services including, but not limited to: product design and development, marketing websites development, browser extension development, existing product maintenance, open-sourcing projects, and technical writing. I also have basic experience with developing iOS applications and prototypes used to secure fundraising.Clients include: HELIX RE, Clearbit, Heap.

As much as I love working on startups, I can actively contribute only to so many projects. For this reason, I also invest in the companies I come across and find interesting. Due to my short tenure as an angel investor, it is too early to call the winners, but I've invested in over 20 companies so far.

HELIX RE provides Digital Twins, 3D models, 2D plans, and virtual tours via a secure website that reduces travel to buildings. I joined HELIX RE when they were scaling their operations which would see us double the headcount during my time with the company. I was one of two front-end engineers and my main responsibility was to work on the web platform used to build, deliver, and view Digital Twins. I was a part of a team of 6 which saw me participate in regular meetings, peer code reviews, QA process, and writing documentation. Additionally, I participated in user interviews, developing the corporate website, and hiring process. Outside feature development, my main initiatives at HELIX RE were introducing an internal design system and refactoring the codebase as the product evolved from an MVP into a medium-size project.

Warkk aimed to create a new standard in the experiential industry recruitment. I conducted market research by interviewing over 1,000 people from the industry and built a community of 2,500+ members. I've designed, built, and tested an MVP with 50 people. Based on the feedback, I decided to pivot the product and went through the YC Startup School before ultimately shutting the project down.
