Coordination of the primary health, social & emotional wellbeing, suicide prevention services, and cross-sector stakeholders across the regions of north Queensland affected by the floods of early 2019. Working not only on population recovery & preparedness, but with the aim of building it back so we're stronger than before. Some of the most meaningful work I've ever done. • Leading the recovery outreach phase of "Team Townsville" across the city. • Panel member: - Queensland Clinical Senate forum: "Extreme Wellbeing" the struggles and challenges of continuing to provide healthcare during extreme events (both natural, e.g. cyclones, floods, etc. and other mass casualty events) that significantly impact on a community, when the clinician themselves is part of that community. - Mentally Healthy City Wellness Expo: "Recovery and Resilience" the monsoonal event's impact on community.
