Completed 16 weeks of the School of Code, a fast-paced intensive coding bootcamp, focusing on learning with real experience of the market. I did pair programming and delivered every week a new project. I've learned HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, NPM, REST APIs, debugging, testing, computational thinking, and improved in some soft skills such as presentation and mindset. Reconnect - Self-care App 1 Month - Group of 5 people Developed a full stack self-care mobile application that helps keep track of your mood and thoughts, as well as to promote different activities to help develop healthy habits. On this project, I applied all my knowledge acquired on the bootcamp, innovated with the UX & UI design, researched market and users, created many of the React components and states, responsible CSS and Next.js pages, and initialized the backend and connection between the frontend and database. As a mobile-first design, we used PWA for users to be able to download the app on their phones. During the month we used agile methodologies, prioritized tasks, and did the project planning & management on Jira and Trello. Practiced cooperation, problem-solving, and decision-making in a larger dev team as well as pair and mob programming when necessary. Frontend was deployed on Netlify and backend on Heroku. Testing with Jest, Supertest, and Cypress. Code Club Dashboard 1-week project - Group of 4 people Conceived a responsive web application to help students support each other in their learning journey. The bootcampers could choose the subject they would like to revise and register their interest on the dashboard. If they would like to guide others, they could add their names and availability on the “Volunteer to help” section. Brainstorming, personas, user journey were created on Miro, and wireframes were designed in Figma. We managed the tickets on Trello, used Javascript in React and used PostgreSQL and Heroku for backend.
