  Mofid Securities is Iran’s largest full-service stock brokerage firm & leading private investment advisory which has been ranked first by the SEO since 2007. Mofid has powerful advisory and professional trader teams that provide services to institutional and retail investors. As a junior data team, we faced challenges with data gathering, clearing, and analysis. We started with Excel and Access but quickly realized they could not handle our large data sets. Finally, we discovered SQL Server, set up a Windows server, and Initialized Power Bi to support our data calculations, storage, visualization, and interpretation. The AUM amount of Mofid is approximately 1B$ and holding has a 30% portion of daily trade in Iran. some of our achievements: ● Crawl data for 98% of active investment funds in Iran and monitor market share daily ● Crawl historical parallel markets data such as coins, oil, gold, commodities, cryptocurrencies, Real estate, Inflation rate ,etc. ● Conduct R&D and simulation for the foundation of Index funds, Islamic leverage funds, and Capital Guarantee Funds. ● Setup portfolio managers KPIs ● Conduct an Internal trade core for traders. ● Monitor sales and marketing team performance toward strategies. ● Monitor the impact of any customer entrance gates and their portion in our total revenue ● Monitor market maker performance versus other opponents Show less
