• Marketing Officer

  I work on campaigns and projects to market and advertise South Wirral High School to prospective students and their parents/guardians, as well as indirectly to other stakeholders such as Governors, Ofsted and the local community. In addition, I monitor, analyse and contribute social media activity, write press releases and copy for advertising, leaflets and website, wrote creative briefs and print specifications, take photographs for leaflets, brochures, prospectuses and online use, write content for the school newsletter and updated both the intranet and external website. I established an Alumni Community which we are currently growing into a successful group. In my role, I work closely with departments across the school (such as the Senior Management Team, Extended Leadership Team, work experience team and teaching staff) and external clients including publishers, printers, designers and local organisations. I also liase with local primary schools to aid the transition of students new to secondary school education.

• Senior ICT Technician

  Responsible for the overall management of the school's curriculum, admin and wireless networks. Supporting staff and students to get the most out of technology whilst driving forward the use of IT within the school. Leading a team of proactive IT technicians to ensure high availability from the school's IT resources. Day to day work includes troubleshooting IT/AV related issues and maintaining the schools Windows networks, website, VLE and contacts with suppliers and local school's. I also carry out training sessions on IT related topics with staff and local schools.

• Extended Schools IT Technician

  Responsible for the management and maintenance of ten virtual learning environments on various platforms. Created and delivered training sessions with teachers, support staff and students on how to use various Virtual Learning Environments including Uniservity, LIFE and eschools. I built strong working relationships with the schools and successfully saw the launch of their VLE's.
