My contract role includes the following responsibilities: • 3D Modelling (PTC Creo) • Design, build and evaluate prototypes and test rigs. • Devise test methods, analyse test results, summarise results to colleagues. • Explore innovative new technologies and incorporate them into new products. • Ensure effective transfer of newly-developed technology into manufactured products. • Extensive use of rapid prototyping machines. Contract Mechanical Engineer LEAP Australia May 2012 – October 2012 (6 months)Manly, Sydney, Australia LEAP Australia have a long established reputation for successfully delivering Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software and services to hundreds of Australian and New Zealand customers – from global leaders to small local companies. My contract role included design consultation work and delivering presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers detailing the benefits and capabilities of the CAE software offered by LEAP.
