I've worked on several projects with Marvin as the lead developer and he's proved to be not only a skilled developer but also an excellent communicator - not only able to understand what solution will work technically but also to be able to translate that vision in a way that non developers can understand. He is extremely adaptable and inventive and always ensured delivery was the key focus. His ability to see what issues really were and then to explain clearly how to resolve them made him an invaluable link between product, content and development. He's not only an excellent, flexible developer, but someone who understands and engages to solve customer facing issues - whether that's for the customer as the end user or the customer as the client.
