Tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con David en la construcción del puerto de Singapur durante el 2018 donde ejerció su labor como Lead Project Manager. David demostró en todo momento ser un gran líder, manteniendo una alta motivación de todos los empleados. Gracias a su amplia experiencia como Project Manager consiguió que el proyecto fuese un éxito no solo reconocido por los trabajadores de la empresa, sino también por parte del cliente. También destacar como su gestión del proyecto hizo que este se desarrollada sin ningún incidente de seguridad en un ambiente tan extremo como es una operación off-shore. Espero tener la oportunidad de poder volver a trabajar en el mismo equipo de David ya que su experiencia en su profesión es muy enriquecedora para cualquiera de sus compañeros.

      In 2009 Maxam was awarded the contract to execute the Underwater Blasting activities for the Panama Canal Expansion Project, considered the largest civil engineering project of the 21st century. That contract was followed by the collaboration in The Third Set of Locks Project and the Pacific Access Channel- 4 (both for the Panama Canal Expansion Project). Maxam soon became the only explosive supplier a service provider for the entire Project, exceeding expectations in terms of technical support, quality and overall performance. Until the Canal was inaugurated on 2016, Maxam had executed more than 3,500 blast with the highest standards of safety, quality and environment. In my role as General Manager and Project Leader I:- Successfully completed Panama Canal Expansion Project, resulting in global recognition for the service and support provided- Developed new businesses and customers to guarantee company presence after Panama Canal Project completion, resulting in contracts for the next 5 years- Directed all facets of the business, including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Human Resources and Operations- Took on full P&L responsibility and improved Company’s financial indicators (gross margin, working capital, cash management), exceeding the goals set by the corporation every fiscal year- Led a team of 40 members, managing their engagement and commitment during the Project- Built trustworthy relationships with clients, suppliers, shareholders and other stakeholders
