Underwriting Responsibilities:• Manage new e-commerce Merchants’ MIDs applications and grow the existing portfolio, ensure compliance due diligence and AML compliance.• Offshore & Onshore incorporation assistance & Bank relationship management.• Merchant’s websites must be fully compliant with the latest card scheme (VISA&MC) and acquiring banks' rules. Also, European law is in accordance with due diligence standards.• Guarantee website compliance PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) for all existing and new merchants.Analytics (Technical) Responsibilities: • Monitor the merchants’ performance and operations.• Gateway analysis and conversion optimization.• Review processing figures and accordingly:- Manage charge-back levels (reduction strategies)- Efficiently extract the relevant data.- Define Business problems- Determine the analytical approach.- Forming opinions for the approvals and declined transactions.• Follow up with Acquiring banks, ensure Merchant Identification Numbers (MIDs) are properly set up along with MIDs’ credentials. Pass the MIDs credentials to the payment service provided if any and coordinate with IT department to guarantee the proper configuration along with successfully tested gateways to deliver a website/MID ready for live traffic.Compliance Responsibilities: • Merchant’s websites must comply with the latest card scheme (VISA & MC)rules along with Acquiring banks rules.• Communicate with Front-end and Back-end team for all domains registration processes (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.), domains ownerships, developments systems (i.e.WordPress), design and websites pages, displayed products.• Coordinate with the legal department for the displayed contents on websites’ pages such as T&C page, refund & Return policy page, currencies, merchants’ jurisdiction, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPBR), and products’ policies or licenses if any.
