Lou Kosak
I hired Mousom to lead a new team within Plaid's European business unit. Despite not having formally operated as a full EM before (he had previously spent time as a TLM), Mousom stepped easily into the EM role. Shortly after he joined, I left for four months on parental leave, and Mousom not only was able to ramp up successfully during that time, but also to learn Plaid's hiring process and fill all of his open roles. Mousom is an extremely intelligent, thoughtful, and responsible engineer, and it was a pleasure to work with him. I never had to repeat myself, and he was extremely clear in sharing his needs, expectations, and plans. Mousom views new challenges as exciting opportunities, and was never daunted by taking something on that he had never done before.
