o Contributed as part of the Hardware Design & Development Group at the National Remote Sensing Centre. o Developed an efficient CRC module in remote sensing satellites for automatic identification of system signals for error correction. o Designed a CRC that has the advantages of effectively reducing the frame error rate of the navigation message, improving the continuity of positioning under weak signal conditions, and improving the positioning performance and as an application for a random satellite navigation system. o Coordinated closely with senior SMEs to ensure verification, achieved meaningful coverage of each sub-chip, helped debugging and fixing errors as part of the design process. o Utilized design software, developing electrical schematics and mechanical constraints, preparing PCBs for manufacturing and experience working with FPGAs. o Developed ability to work independently and in a team environment as required while delivering results with least supervision and under stringent timelines. o Typical technologies utilized: Xilinx and Altera. o Coding included: MATLAB, Verilog HDL, and VHDL.
