• Managing a fixed asset list gross book value of 130 million USD and annual operational cost of 15 million USD. • Reorganized maintenance process, reducing the timeline of the maintenance by 7% and the cost of changed parts by 3%.• Implemented local repair of maintenance parts by defining repair procedure and required qualifications for welders. Those repairs increased respectively the lifetime of repaired parts by 35% and the asset availability by 4%. It also decreased the maintenance parts cost by 5% (0.5 million USD annual saving). • Extended asset planning initiative to offshore, allowing to cover the increasing activity in the region with the controlled capex. This included the rent of a boat transporting the shared assets and moving assets faster to and from rigs. This reduced the asset standby time by 37%.• Increased asset utilization. The sum of actions above improved asset utilization by 18%.• Reduced the asset cost per job (sum of depreciation and loan) by 28%. The plan consisted of sharing backup assets between rigs. The shared backup is on a truck in the field within an hour from the rig.
