As a data scientist and ML professional, I have been involved in a multi-phase flow metering projects where my primary responsibility was to develop and deploy predictive models to accurately estimate the flow rate of oil, water, and gas in a wellbore. To accomplish this, I leveraged my expertise in neural network topologies, including GAN (Generative Adversarial Networks), VAE (Variational Autoencoders), Regressions, and Classifications. I implemented and fine-tuned these models to analyze the complex and dynamic nature of the multi-phase flow system. The VAE models were used to capture the underlying features and patterns of the flow rate data, while the Regression models were used to predict the continuous flow rates of each phase. Finally, Classification models were employed to classify the different phases of the fluid based on their respective flow rates. I also utilised my skills in data preprocessing and feature engineering to extract relevant features from the raw data and transform them into a format suitable for machine learning models. In addition, I employed various techniques to evaluate and validate the model's performance, such as cross-validation and hyperparameter tuning. Overall, my involvement in the multi-phase flow metering project has demonstrated my proficiency in developing and deploying advanced machine learning models, particularly in neural network topologies. I was able to use these models to accurately estimate the flow rate of each phase in the wellbore, providing valuable insights for decision-making in the oil and gas industry. Show less
