Project Management ● Successfully organized a startup job fair in partnership with Stutern for volunteer workers, job seekers and freelancers. There were over 250 attendees and over 35% received job offers as a result of this fair. ● Responsible for communications and strategy for the “Safe Online with Facebook Digital Campaign” - a Facebook sponsored project to equip Nigerian students, teachers, school administrators and parents with the digital skills to remain safe while conducting their various activities on the internet as a result of COVID-19. Through this program, we successfully trained over 8000 people across Nigeria. ● Responsible for creating communication copy and design banner content used to promote many of the organizations’ projects on social media. I was also responsible for leveraging different communities and databases to ensure high attendance/participation numbers across different projects. Administrative ● Responsible for managing the community co-working space - made up of freelancers and small business owners. I manage their quarterly subscription payments, inventory management, organize relevant events and showcases, online marketing of the space and more. ● Responsible for growing the number of monthly users of the co-working space to 200. Through targeted outreach and communications, I was also able to increase the amount of paid events held in the space by 50% ● Responsible for shortlisting and selection of the members of the co-working space ● Build and maintain relationships with each of the members of the co-working space to ensure that all their immediate needs are met ● Responsible for managing costs, expenses and also preparing budgets for community events in the co-working space. ● Responsible for monitoring and responding to incoming communications (including complaints), phone calls, emails and walk-ins Show less
