  Duties Include:• Review painting Quality Control Plan (QCP/ITP), Coating and Repair procedures for Project and Maintenance coating work as per project specifications and Industry standards.• Prepare coating procedure as per project specifications and international standards. • Ensure that the quality control and inspection work proceeds in accordance with ITP and coating procedure agreed by contractors.• Ensure that contractor’s blasters and painters are qualified and approved before work.• Responsible for incoming coating material inspection verifying painting material are compliant with project specifications. Ensure painting materials are stored as per MSDS and in date. • Review calibration status log sheet and random review of calibration certificate of gauges and equipment to ensure certificates are issued by accredited laboratories and in date. • Monitor weather condition (dry bulb, wet bulb, relative humidity, dew point) for surface preparation. • Inspect surface profile, WFT, DFT and dolly adhesion tests as per coating procedure’s interval, frequency and location. • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and also prepare painting inspection reports. • Liaison with client’s representative and contractor coating supervisor. • Attend weekly project progress meeting. • Raise NCR and expedite/verify their closure. • Assist quality manager on annual internal audit. • Assist quality engineer as subject matter expert on vendor auditing and approval. • Experienced in painting and coating inspection of structures, piping, pipeline, valves, vessels, Jacket, topside and bridges of offshore platform• Fully conversant with international codes and standards (BS EN ISO, SSPC)
