Head of 3D TRANS-TIBIAL PROSTHETIC PRINT-ABILITY RESEARCH PROJECT, The project looked at developing prosthetic limbs as well as orthoses using 3D Technology and our main emphasis was on the viability of the materials, time taken and effectiveness. Total of over 50 clients were fitted with both 3D printed assistive devices and we moved form PLA, to Nylon and finally to polypropylene rods. From grass root to sockets during my time it was a success and looking forward to a mobile 3D clinic which will help out the hard to reach areas. Show less
