Tanjung Bin Power Station Study in Malaysia (2013) • Captured data from the intake estuary to simulate sediment movement in Mike 21: Hydro-dynamic and sedimentation two-dimensional model. • Retrieved sediment monsters on 18 pre-determined sites during this expedition. • Retrieved ADCP flow velocity profiles on 18 other pre-determined sites, including the suspended sediment load, bedload samples, TDS and Castaway measurements. Berg River Abstraction Feasibility Study (2011) • Completed and issued the Hydrology and Flood analysis for the 1:2, 1:10 and 1: 100 year floods. • Simulated a two-dimensional Hydro-dynamic and sediment movement (CCHE 2D) model on the Berg River abstraction proposed positions. • Designed the abstraction works with a crump weir, compiled the feasibility report, layout drawing and orientation of the abstraction structure for minimal sediment abstraction. MPR (Mitchell’s Pass River) Abstraction Work Feasibility Study (2011) • Conducted a one-dimensional analysis (Mike 11) on the possible abstraction works and crump weir designs. • Designed the abstraction works and compiled the feasibility report, layout drawings and hydraulic calculations.
