I joined SHIELD Illinois during its final year as a non-profit. My job was to make sure our "last touch with clients, was as good as our first touch." Morgan exemplified this idea not only with his clients, but also within his team. He is a true leader who is able to identify the value each individual brings to the team, at the same time providing a safe space for individual growth. He provided a balance of mentoring and professional development space for his dynamic team of international graduate students.
