He is able to pick up key messages and cues from my companies communication strategy and deliver it through his design work. He is extremely meticulous and believes that the devil is in the detail. He sweats the small stuff and it works. He is also good at selling and pitching his idea with sophisticated simplicity; communicating the concept to 'non-design trained' decision makers.
